Facebook application for Cash4Mobile

The Cash4Mobile application on Facebook allows users to sell their old mobile phones through Facebook, donate the money to charity and enter great contests.

Cash4Mobile asked Proudfield to make an application which had to become a viral sales succes and get as much return as possible from the opportunities a social medium like Facebook offers. Cash4Mobile wanted to offer the same service as on their website www.cash4mobile.com were people can sell their old and unused mobile phones in return for direct cash whilst given the opportunity to donate a part or the entire amount to charity. What we did was develop a dynamic application with the same functionalities but with a viral add on. A contest and ranking system was implemented where the user is rewarded for selling mobiles and his/her efforts to spread the application and have their friends sell as much mobiles as possible. Furthermore we embedded rankings based on charity donations. From that ranking dashboard, users can connect to other users competing in the C4M contests and by doing this enlarging their own friends networks.

Starmaker allows social media users to drag their faces into branded posters of advertisers. You can now “posterize” yourself and earn credits where applicable, share your funny posters with your friends, download them and much more.
